About Me
Danielle Romero
For over 25 years, I’ve been passionate about creating welcoming, inclusive classrooms where students are inspired to grow, share their ideas, and develop a love of learning.

Early Years
At just 4 years old, I came home from school with a heart full of certainty, that I wanted to be a teacher.

A heartfelt thank you to my mom, who recognized that early spark and gifted me my very first chalkboard. I proudly transformed my bedroom into a mini classroom. That small gesture helped nurture a passion I’ve carried with me ever since.

Experience
With over 25 years of experience in education, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings in Ontario, Vancouver, and internationally in Monterrey, Mexico.
I’ve worked with students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, including those with IEPs, gifted learners, and twice-exceptional (2e) students.
Throughout my career, I’ve created and led wellness and summer literacy camps, provided one-on-one tutoring, and served as a founding teacher at three different schools.
In 2019, I was honoured to receive an INSPIRE Award for teaching, a recognition that means so much to me because it reflects the heart I bring to my work every day.
